Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to tribal leader Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary on Sunday. Praising the freedom fighter, PM Modi said his contribution to the freedom movement and social harmony will always inspire the countrymen. PM Modi also greeted people of Jharkhand on its foundation day and wished them happiness, prosperity and good health.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter on Thursday morning, President Kovind noted that Jharkhand is “blessed with vast natural resources and a rich culture”.
