The company will raise Rs 1,575 crore through issue of warrants in multiple tranches D B Realty said the board in its meeting held on Wednesday approved allotment of further 5 crore warrants convertible into equivalent numbers of equity shares. The company proposes to allot 1 crore warrants each to Rekha Jhunjhunwala, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's RARE Investments, Abhay Chandak and Aditya Chandak.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala owned more than a 5 per cent stake in the Tata Group firm. Jhunjhunwala owned 3,57,10,395 shares or a 4.02 per cent stake. Jhunjhunwala's wife, Rekha Jhunjhunwala, held 95,40,575 shares or a 1.07 per cent stake in the firm.

Financial Technologies India Ltd Tuesday inked a pact with ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, financial major Edelweiss and others to sell its entire five percent stake in MCX-SX stock exchange for Rs 88.41 crore.

Shares of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Wednesday jumped 6 percent after ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala purchased nearly two percent stake in the commodity bourse for over Rs 66 crore.
