Jiah Khan suicide case: Rabia Khan, in her petition filed in the HC, had sought a fresh probe into the case by an independent and special agency with assistance from the United States's Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The Bombay High Court on Thursday declined a plea for setting up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the death of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan.

The Bombay High Court today issued notice to Rabiya Khan, mother of late actress Jiah Khan, and sought her response to a contempt plea filed against her by actor Sooraj Pancholi's parents Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi.

In a new turn, the prosecution in the model-turned-actress Jiah Khan suicide case today sought to invoke murder charge against Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi accused of abetting her death.

Rabia Khan had filed a fresh petition in Bombay High court against the CBI report that states Jiah's death as a suicide and not a homicide.

The CBI had filed a report in December 2015.

In connection with a suicide case of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan, actor Sooraj Pancholi has reportedly appeared in the court.
