The J&K CM Abdullah shared a video on the social media platform X and stated that he was “physically grappled” by the police personnel when he was at the Martyrs' Graveyard in Srinagar. The Chief Minister also reportedly said that he did not inform anyone before visiting the Mazar-e-Shuhada since he was house arrested yesterday on Kashmir Martyrs' Day.
Amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called for de-escalation between the two countries through dialogue and also provided an update about the evacuation of Indian students stranded in the conflict region.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Friday appealed to the people in and around Jammu to stay off the streets, ignore rumors, and not spread unsubstantiated stories.
