Here is list of five coaches that may face sacking before IPL 2026 auctions.

Langer has been named as the head coach of the Lucknow Super Giants in Indian Premier League. He will form a team with KL Rahul and Gautam Gambhir, who are the captain and mentor of the team respectively.

The franchise management has chosen not to comment on the potential coaching staff changes, while Langer, currently unattached to any coaching assignments, remains open to new opportunities.

Langer`s resignation came a day after his England counterpart Chris Silverwood left his job and the Australian was linked with the vacant role which eventually went to New Zealander Brendon McCullum.

Australia needed a "new style of coaching", captain Pat Cummins said on Wednesday in his first public comments since the departure of former national team coach Justin Langer.

Justin informed CA this morning he was not accepting the offer and would resign with immediate effect. The news was confirmed by Langer's management company.

Langer's future had appeared uncertain following the long meeting on Friday. He took over the position in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa in 2018. His contract was due to expire this year.
