Two people were arrested after the racket was busted on Monday. A case has been registered against 15 others, including staff from the Gangotri Charitable Hospital.

A person named Jaideep pretended himself as a Kidney donor and with the help of the Crime Branch investigating team, busted the gang.

During investigation, it has also emerged that some of the recipients who procured kidney from the racket had used forged documents to hide their addresses.

Five persons have been arrested on charges of running the kidney racket bringing donors from different parts of the country to the national capital.
