The IPL 2025 will resume on Saturday, May 17 with the clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka. After a week-long suspension of IPL 2025 due to cross-border India-Pakistan tensions, the availability of overseas players is in focus ahead of the restart of the tournament.   Here's the full list of overseas players who are available for rest of IPL 2025 season:

The BCCI has allowed franchises to sign temporary replacement players for the final stages of the rearranged Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season after week-long suspension due to cross-border India-Pakistan tensions. However, those replacement players will not be eligible for retention ahead of the next auction. The IPL 2025 will resume on Saturday, May 17 with the clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka. KKR were handed a 39-run loss by Gujarat Titans here on Monday with skipper Ajinkya Rahane's 36-ball 50 being the only knock of substance in the steep chase of 198 in Kolkata.

GT’s win was powered by Shubman Gill’s 90 and disciplined bowling from Rashid Khan and Prasidh Krishna. With just three wins in eight games, KKR must now win at least five of their remaining six matches to stay in playoff contention. Their positive net run rate offers some cushion, but any further losses or big defeats could severely damage their chances.

It was yet another low for the defending champions KKR after their horror show of 95 all out while chasing 112 in the last match as their batting looked woefully out of depth and succumbed to their third defeat in four matches at home, and fifth overall from eight games.
