The flood situation in Bihar continues to be grim, with fresh warnings suggesting that the water level in Kosi, Gandak and Mahananda rivers may rise further. Earlier on Friday, Bihar Water Resource Minister Lalan Singh, after reviewing the flood situation, claimed that rats had damaged the river embankments that in turn caused the floods.
