"I am still very emotional about the whole incident; I mean I am in shock, so I am sorry I think I can't really articulate what's going on in my mind," said Papon on KK's death.

KK`s wife, Jyothy Krishna, along with her son Nakul and daughter Tamara boarded from New Delhi to reach Kolkata.

KK died on Tuesday night at the age of 53 after performing in his last show at Nazrul Manch in South Kolkata.

KK married his childhood sweetheart Jyothy Krishna in 1991. The couple has a daughter and a son.

Doctors at the hospital in Kolkata said they suspected "cardiac arrest" to be the cause of KK's death.
