Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, who sparked controversy after he made controversial remarks about Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde during one of his events, has been issued a third summons by Mumbai's Khar Police, asking him to appear for questioning on Saturday.
On Tuesday, the summons was issued, and Kamra (36) was asked to appear at the Khar police station, where a FIR was registered against him.
Kamra failed to appear on the first date, and his lawyer had requested seven days. However, after he did not appear, Mumbai Police issued another date after taking legal opinion.
