7,200 employee disciplinary cases of the KSRTC were waived off on Labour Day. The proceeding came as a one-time remedy and goodwill measure by the KSRTC. KSRTC celebrated the Labour Day with its employees at the Bangalore Central Division.

Workers and activists marked International Workers' Day or May Day on Tuesday with rallies to demand their government address labour issues.
