Tibetan Prime Minister-in-exile Lobsang Sangay on Sunday said that he was saddened by the untimely demise of Bollywood icon Sridevi in Dubai.
Sangay underlined that an independent or autonomous Tibet was in the interest of both India and China as it provided a buffer between the two big nations that have mutual "mistrust and suspicion" due to their long border.
Tibetan Prime Minister Lobsang Sangay also attended the celebrations, while his cabinet urged Trump to initiate steps for restarting the dialogue process on the future of Tibet.
"If the Chinese government implement their own laws listed in the Constitution and minorities nationalities act, we could take that as genuine autonomy," the president of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) Lobsang Sangay said.
