The Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration on Wednesday issued new guidelines for the residents for the fourth phase of the lockdown, which kicked in on May 18 and will continue till May 31.

E-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and others can now deliver all kinds of products in Red, Orange, and Green zones. According to the latest guidelines provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) e-commerce platforms will be barred from delivering non-essential goods to containment zones.

The Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government on Tuesday issued new guidelines for coronavirus lockdown 4.0, dividing the entire state into red and non-red zones. The new guidelines would come into effect from May 22.  

Earlier the Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh has accepted Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi's proposal to run 1,000 buses to bring migrant workers stranded in other parts of the country due to coronavirus lockdown back to their homes. The nationwide lockdown 4.0 will end on May 31, said a National Disaster Management (NDMA) order, which came after Punjab, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu already announced the extension till the month-end.

The announcement comes after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) extended the nationwide lockdown till May 31.
