 Although Louis Berger is under scanner in Goa for the alleged bribery scam, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has said that the US firm was not blacklisted in the state.

The Panaji bench of the Bombay High Court on Friday upheld a lower court's order granting anticipatory bail to former Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat in the Louis Berger bribery case.

Goa Crime Branch will file the chargesheet in the Louis Berger bribery case on September 28, naming former minister Churchill Alemao and others as "accused", while ex-Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat's name will be added as an accused in the supplementary chargesheet.

Louis Berger group`s former vice president Satyakam Mohanty was arrested here on Monday by the Crime Branch for paying off Goa politicians and officials in 2010 while he was serving as the head of the international consultancy firm in India.

The bribery of USD 976,630 for a Goa project by Louis Berger included that to a minister, the details of which have not been disclosed by the Department of Justice.
