Five states - Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoral will go to polls by the end of this year while the Lok Sabha Elections will be held in May 2024.

In a big relief to consumers, the domestic cooking gas (LPG) price was cut by Rs 5.91 per cylinder on Monday, the Indian Oil Corp (IOC), the country's largest fuel retailer, said in a statement.
This is the second straight monthly reduction in LPG rate.
Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), or jet fuel, price was on Friday hiked by 8.7 percent but that of non-subsidised cooking gas LPG was cut by Rs 4 per cylinder on global trends.
