Brijendra Pratap Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party wins Panna City Assembly Constituency in Madhya Pradesh with 96,668 votes, defeating Indian National Congress candidate Bharat Milan Pandey by a substantial margin of 17,910 votes.

As the assembly elections approached, Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified the election campaign. PM Modi addressed an election rally in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh and targeted Congress fiercely. He even said that there is a war within the Congress as to who will rule Madhya Pradesh in future.

Addressing an election rally in Indore, Vijayvargiya said that the BJP booth chief of the polling booth where Congress will not get any vote will be given a reward of 51 thousand rupees.

The INDIA Opposition alliance will hold its first joint public rally in Bhopal in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh in the first week of October.

Key leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah, along with other members of the election committee will take part in the meeting.
