 Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Wednesday, accompanied by his family. The meeting, which saw Shinde travel to the capital specifically for the occasion, included his wife Lata Shinde, his MP son Dr. Shrikant Shinde, and daughter-in-law Vrushali Shinde.

 Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate on Tuesday sparked yet another controversy, saying that the state government is a beggar and not the farmers.

Disha Salian Murder Case: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of maligning Aaditya Thackeray with baseless allegations linking him to Salian’s death.

Speaking to mediapersons, Raut further stated that the relationship between the two brothers had not been broken, and they have been together for years.

Fadnavis insisted there was no need to talk about Modi’s successor while he remains active in politics.

Sanjay Raut said that just like Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kangana Ranaut was given protection following her "rift" with Shiv Sena, Kamra should be provided the same. 

Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske strongly condemned Kamra, calling him a ‘hired comedian’ making comments about their leader for money. 

Thackeray remarked, "If the double-engine government has failed, then they should resign."

Shinde's remarks came days after Shinde made the 'lightly' remark, fuelling speculations in Maharashtra's political circles.
