In a pointed statement, she demanded that Shiv Sena(UBT) walk out of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and the INDIA bloc if it still stands by its saffron ideology. Kayande’s remarks came in response to recent comments made by NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Jitendra Awhad, who said, "Sanatan Dharma has ruined India".

Kayande also pointed out that a case is currently underway against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on Savarkar.

This move comes just ahead of Shiv Sena's foundation day and follows the resignation of senior leader Shishir Shinde. Kayande expressed her disappointment at the lack of introspection within the Thackeray-led faction regarding the exodus of party workers.
