Marcus Stoinis news
The former India skipper has achieved a plethora of records and has become one of the stalwarts of the IPL. While talking to PTI, Marcus Stoinis stated that he has been following Kohli since the 2008 U19 World Cup.
Stoinis played a key role in LSG's victory with his 72-run knock off 40 balls, his highest score for the team.
The Border-Gavaskar series has had some fantastic matches throughout the years, and most recently, one of the most thrilling ones included Ravichandran Ashwin and Steve Smith.
Stoinis continued to assault the Lankan bowlers, forming a 20-ball 50-run partnership. He also brought up his half-century in just 17 balls, the fastest by an Aussie in T20I history.
Both the T20I matches will take place on October 5 and October 7. The series will be extremely crucial for the Aussies and they will be looking forward to get every box ticked ahead of the World Cup, especially after a 2-1 series loss to India recently.
