Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, the nation`s biggest carmaker by sales, plans to raise prices of its cars by up to 20,000 rupees ($300), starting Jan. 1, to offset cost increases and unfavourable foreign exchange rates, a company spokesman said on Thursday.
Country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India will hike prices of its vehicles across models by up to Rs 20,000 from January to offset impact of rising costs and weakening of rupee against dollar, joining rivals in making such a move.
