The recall is one of the largest recalls being undertaken by Maruti Suzuki in the recent times and will be effective from July 24, 2023, 06:30 pm onwards, it said.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS has recalled the units of the car manufactured between October 27, 2016, and November 1, 2019, to address a probable issue with the car's vacuum pump.

The affected Maruti Suzuki models are manufactured between December 8, 2022 and January 12, 2023, the country's largest carmaker said in a regulatory filing.

The recall is for faulty rear brake pin
The recall affects the vehicle manufactured between Aug 3 and 1 Sept 2022
9,925 units are covered under the recall

A total of 19,731 EECOs are part of the recall
Maruti Suzuki said the issue will have no impact on performance
The owners can use the chassis number to find if their car is eligible for recall
