Meghalaya Assembly Election Result 2023 Highlights: Out of 59 assembly constituencies, the National People's Party (NPP) secured 26 seats and emerge as the single largest party in the state however it could not attain majority in the assembly polls.

The ruling Congress has maintained its lead on 20 seats while the NPP continues to lead on 19 seats.

Though the strength of each assembly is 60, voting was held for 59 constituencies in all the three states, for different reasons.
