Home-grown handset maker Micromax has launched another smartphone in its Canvas series – the Canvas Evok, pricing it competitively at just Rs 8,499.

The Micromax Canvas XP 4G features a 5-inch HD (1280×720p) display and is powered by a 1GHz quad core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The device will be available exclusively on Snapdeal starting Friday (April 22) via open sale.

The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m, Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz SoC coupled with 4GB RAM.

The phone features a 5-inchHD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels.

A Mumbai-based retailer claimed that the gadget is available to buy in India and had listed the specifications as well.
The phone will now be available for next round of flash sale on Friday.
The Micromax Canvas Spark will be available exclusively on ecommerce site Snapdeal through flash sale.
The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999 on Infibeam. Canvas Fire had earlier appeared on the company's website without price and availability details.
