Senior commanders of Indian and Chinese army held tenth round of military talks to discuss and take forward the disengagement process at friction points like Hot Springs, Gogra and Depsang in eastern Ladakh.
India and China are holding the 10th round of Corps Commander level talks today. The talks are being held on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Moldo.
The first phase of the disengagement which was announced last week has come to an end. Around 150 Chinese tanks and nearly 5,000 Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers have gone back.
The 9th round of talks between India and China has begun in Moldo to ease tension on the LAC. Earlier, the 8th round of talks took place on 6 November 2020.

The military talks between the two sides are expected to begin at around 9.30 AM in Moldo opposite the Chushul sector on the Indian side of the border on Sunday.
The last round (8th round) of talks took place on 6th November.
The latest round of talks will take place several months after the standoff at the Line of Actual Control began in Eastern Ladakh
According to official sources, the Indian Army will press for comprehensive disengagement of troops by the Chinese PLA from all friction points in eastern Ladakh at the talks.
