Sulochana Rawat, who had won the elections on a Congress ticket from Jobat (ST) Assembly seat twice - in 1998 and 2008 - was considered that party's potential candidate from this seat.

Bypolls to 28 Madhya Pradesh Assembly seats will be held on Nov 3.
The counting of votes for the bypolls to two Assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh was underway today, with the BJP leading in Mungaoli and the Congress in Kolaras after the completion of first round, an official said.
Both the Mungaoli and Kolaras seats are currently held by the Congress and fall within the Guna Lok Sabha constituency.
The bypolls will be held tomorrow while the counting will take place on November 24.
