Voting is underway for 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. On the other hand, voting is being held for second phase in Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, security forces have encountered about 5 terrorists since yesterday evening in Kulgam of South Kashmir.

The Vindhya region comprises of 30 assembly seats across nine districts in eastern Madhya Pradesh - Rewa, Shahdol, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Anuppur, Umaria, Maihar and Mauganj.

Whereas Congress says that this is electoral opportunism. His allegation is that BJP wants to encash the Ram temple, whereas Ram does not belong to any party, he belongs to everyone. ..Congress has also claimed the credit of Ram Mandir. Recently, Kamal Nath had also said that Rajiv Gandhi had got the lock opened for the first time. ...then we will talk to both sides. We will ask the Congress that Rajiv Gandhi had got the lock opened, so why did it take so many years to claim credit for it? We will ask the BJP why it feels that this election is between Ram devotees and Ram opponents? Party workers, angry over the ticket cuts in Madhya Pradesh, have put the national leadership in trouble. The situation reached such a stage that many leaders, angry over the cancellation of tickets, reached the Congress office in Delhi and created a ruckus.
