MS Dhoni will once again be part of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who will be eyeing their sixth title in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The five-times couldn't qualify for the playoff in IPL 2024 after the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their last group game. As per Harbhajan, Dhoni was always up to help the bowlers but then he preferred that they learn from their mistakes rather than expecting direct help.

Former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar agreed with his assessment that Dhoni will be the key for CSK.

This raises the question of succession for CSK. The team has three options - Ben Stokes, Ajinkya Rahane, and the young Ruturaj Gaikwad.

The IPL 2023 season may be Dhoni's final one as well. Before CSK's final game in the 2022 IPL, Dhoni was questioned about if this would be his final appearance for the fans wearing the yellow jersey.
