Microsoft Corp's MS Teams app faced an hour-long outage on Wednesday afternoon with thousands of users reporting that they were unable to access the Teams app.

Microsoft has tweeted from its official handle that it has received reports of users being unable to access Microsoft Teams or leverage any features. The tech giant further said that it is investigating the issue.  

Microsoft has introduced a sign language view in MS Teams. It will assist signers - people who are deaf/hard of hearing, interpreters, and others who use sign language. The sign language view will provide a more predictable, static meeting experience.

The company confirming the outage said that it was investigating an outage where users were unable to access Microsoft Teams or leverage any features on the app.

Microsoft flagged the new feature in its December updates for the Teams collaboration platform, which included end-to-end encryption for calls and fixes for an issue between Teams and Android that caused some devices to freeze after making an emergency call, reports ZDNet.
