India's liberalisation across numerous sectors of its economy sends a clear message to the global investment community that the country is open for business and reforms are also on-track, a top US advocacy group has said.

"What we are hearing from our companies that India story is strong. The slowdown in China is making India story much much stronger," Mukesh Aghi, president of the US India Business Council (USIBC) said.
As president, Aghi will lead the council's strategic direction and policy priorities with the objective of enhancing the bilateral commercial relationship.
