India's First On-Screen Superhero: Mukesh Khanna, famed for roles like Bhishma Pitamah in Mahabharat and India’s first on-screen superhero Shaktimaan, is a prominent figure in Indian television. He was born on June 23, 1958, Mukesh Khanna is an Indian actor, talk show host, and producer known for his contributions to Hindi films and television.  He holds an iconic status among 90s kids, who saw him as a childhood hero through his role as Shaktimaan, sparking dreams of a live-action movie. As of 2023, he is 66 years old.  

Mukesh Khanna is set to reprise his iconic 90s superhero role, but fans humorously troll him as "Senior Citizen Shaktimaan."

Mukesh Khanna took to his Instagram account to share a poster and announce the teaser video that gives a glimpse of Shaktimaan's comeback.
