Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday inaugurated the Indian Navy's largest, state-of-the-art dry dock, which is capable of docking aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya — at Mumbai’s Naval Dockyard.
The warship, commissioned in 2004, was undergoing a refit at the dockyard when the accident happened.
Indian Naval Ship Angre, a naval establishment here, which currently functions as the main 'base and depot' establishment for the Western Naval Command, celebrated its 64th anniversary today.
