Sridhar, who had recently resigned from his position, passed away on Monday at his Hyderabad residence following a massive cardiac arrest.

MV Sridhar stepped down from the post last month after being under the scanner for alleged financial impropriety in his home association Hyderabad when he was heading the state body.

It's also reported that Sridhar's resignation has been accepted by the Committee of Administrators (COA) during a meeting at the Cricket Centre Headquarters today itself.
