PM Modi inaugurated the 12th Defense Expo 2022 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat today. On this occasion, he said that this year's Defense Expo is unprecedented.

PM Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to poll bound Gujarat from Wednesday where he will inaugurate the DefExpo 22 in Gandhinagar and also launch development projects worth Rs 15,670 crores in the state.

During the two-day visit to his home state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects in Gandhinagar, Junagadh, Rajkot, Narmada and Tapi districts.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Monday dedicate to the nation various projects worth more than Rs 8,000 crore at Amod in Bharuch district of Gujarat and inaugurate an educational complex for the needy students in Ahmedabad.

The Aam Aadmi Party is trying to position itself as the main opposition to the Bharatiya Janata Party, which has governed Gujarat for over two decades.

In poll-bound Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also declare Modhera as India's first 24x7 solar-powered village. 

As the show stopped in Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Goa and Uttarakhand with a massive four-point victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party, the focus of the saffron camp has now been shifted to poll-bound Gujarat.

The meeting of the Shree Somnath Trust -- the PM is one of its seven trustees -- will be held at the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday slammed the previous Congress-led UPA over the state of healthcare sector in the country, alleging that it had failed to bring a health policy during its 10-year rule. He also said that the previous government did not pay attention to increasing the number of seats in medical colleges.
