An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 struck Tibet on Sunday, a statement by the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.21 miles). As of now, there have been no reports of injuries or casualties.
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) stated that the quake occurred at a depth of 15 km.
This is the second earthquake in the northeast region to be reported on Tuesday.

An earthquake was felt around 6:56 pm in Bikaner on Sunday, National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
"Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 02-10-2021, 10:15:40 IST, Lat: 29.12 & Long: 93.99, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 143 km NNW of Basar, Arunachal Pradesh," NCS said in a tweet.
A mild earthquake of 4.1 Magnitude hit north Bengal on Tuesday (April 6) morning, as per the National Center for Seismology.
The earthquake, the second to hit the region in less than 12 hours.

Gujarat has witnessed three major earthquakes in the past with the most devastating in 2001, another in Anjar in 1956 and the third in 1918 in the Rann of Kutch. As per reports, the earthquake that struck Gujarat on January 26, 2001, measured 6.9 on the Richter scale and lasted for a little over 100 seconds.
An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit the Andaman and Nicobar Island region on Saturday.
