Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda on Saturday announced the National Health Policy 2017 as one of the many progressive strides being made by the country.

JP Nadda said the government aim is to take healthcare including free drugs and diagnostics and other benefits under various government schemes in an assured manner to all so that nobody is deprived of health facilities.

It seeks to provide and deliver healthcare services, particualarly to underprivileged and socially vulnerable groups of people in the country.

We will develop standards if treatment is not done properly then tribunals will be set up to take the matter,” Nadda said in the Lok Sabha.
