The government will unveil a new national textiles policy next month that seeks to create 35 million new jobs by attracting foreign investments, a senior ministry official said on Monday.

Government on Friday said the new national textiles policy, which aims at boosting exports from the sector, is being finalised.
An expert panel constituted by the government on Monday submitted the draft of the new National Textiles Policy, which aims to achieve USD 300 billion exports by 2024-25, and creation of additional 35 million jobs by attracting investments.
