The security agencies- Nepal Army, APF and the Nepal Police rescued 1415 people from various locations of valley.
At least five people have died and 38 went missing after torrential rain caused a landslide in Sindhupalchok district of Nepal on Friday early morning.
The landslide has swept more than one dozen houses in Jugal-2 Lama Tole here, Pratap Lama, Ward chief of Lama Tole said.
Meanwhile, the government has mobilised the Army and police personnel to carry out rescue operations.
The death toll in the multiple landslides triggered by incessant rains across Nepal in the past 24 hours has risen to 22, the Home Ministry said on Friday. Seven people, including three children, lost their lives due to landslides in Kaski district.
Landslides triggered by heavy rains killed 11 people in western Nepal on Tuesday, including a teenage boy and four young girls, police said.
