A total of 24 ministers have been sworn in the new cabinet, in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and former CM Vijay Rupani.
In the Modi cabinet expansion, 7 new ministers have been included from UP, 4 from Maharashtra, 4 from Bengal. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left Congress and joined BJP, has also got a place in the Modi cabinet.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is likely to expand his cabinet on Sunday. The new ministers are expected to take oath at 11:30 am.
Puri, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Housing and Urban Affairs, said he would give his best to meet the targets.
