Another earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted Nicobar islands.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday Thursday informed that an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck the Nicobar Islands region.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the quake occurred at around 6.39 am and the epicentre of the earthquake was registered at a deep depth of 180 kilometres.
The earthquake took place at 9.50 pm.
There have been no reports of death or destruction so far.
