At least nine more bodies have been recovered from Kavalappara, near Nilambur, in Kerala's Malappuram district where a massive landslide occurred on August 8, Thursday night, news agency ANI reported.

Police said two gang members have been identified and they were closely monitoring the movement of the Maoists in and around the region

"Our force is present at the site but the police are conducting the operation," an official said.
