The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,876.36 crore in the quarter ended on December 31, 2020.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 33,783.62 crore in the quarter from Rs 28,387.27 crore in the same period a year ago.
Its average tariff rose to Rs 3.91 per unit during April to December 2021, from Rs 3.87 per unit in the same period a year ago.

Its total income on standalone basis stood at Rs 2,3617.83 crore in Q4 of 2017-18, against Rs 20,886.85 crore a year ago.

The company's net profit was Rs 2,496.98 crore in the quarter ended on September 30, 2016, NTPC Ltd said in a BSE filing.
According to the statement, the total Income has increased to Rs 18,173.9 crore in the second quarter of 2015-16 fiscal.
