'OMG 2' starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles, is inching towards the Rs 120 crore mark at the Box Office.

The picture was delayed several times before it was finally released, and after a few changes, the censor board awarded it an "A" certificate.

Prior to ‘OMG2’ and pre-Covid era, Yami had delivered two Rs 100 crore grossers including ‘Uri…’ and ‘Bala’. 

'OMG 2' marked Akshay's 10th Independence Day release and has worked in his favour.

Akshay Kumar was kind enugh to end a contract with crore-worth Delhi Daredevils after the IPL franchise approached him and showed the financial troubles.

During the initial phase of his career, Akshay moved to Canada as his films were not working in India. In one of the press events, he revealed that a friend of his lived in Canada and suggested that the actor too should move there if he is not finding success in India. Akshay went there and applied for Canadian citizenship. However, he began experiencing professional success again, and he decided that he should stay back in India. 

'OMG 2', starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, has minted Rs 15.30 crore net on domestic box office in two days, the makers said Sunday.

Days after Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 was passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), actress Yami Gautam and actor Pankaj Tripathi addressed all the hullabaloo created over the film on Tuesday.

The trailer of Akshay Kumar-starrer OMG 2 was earlier supposed to release on Wednesday. But now, it will now release on Thursday.

Helmed by Amit Rai, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. It will face a big Bollywood clash with Sunny Deol’s upcoming action film ‘Gadar 2’.
