There are various reports of attacks on minorities coming from Pakistan every day. In a new case, a Hindu temple has been vandalized in Karachi. However, no arrest has been made so far.

The police arrested the culprits after the Supreme Court demanded action on the matter the incident took place in Pakistan's Punjab province

A mob attacked a Hindu temple in a remote town in Pakistan's Punjab province, damaging idols and burning down parts of it. The attack prompted Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed to express 'grave concern' over the incident and fix the matter before court for hearing on Friday. 

The temple in Terri village was attacked by the mob after members of the Hindu community received permission from local authorities to renovate its decades-old building. Ministry of External Affairs conveyed its serious concerns to the Pakistan High Commission over the repeated instances of similar incidents and atrocities against the members of the minority community. 75 lakh Hindus live in Pakistan, making it the biggest minority community in the country.

Three pistol-waving bearded men stormed a 60-year-old temple in Pakistan's largest city and desecrated the idol of a Hindu deity, leading to fear among the minority community here, a media report said today.
