The Bombay High Court today asked civic bodies and government authorities in Maharashtra to take firm action against organisations which flout noise pollution rules and pull up the trusts and others that illegally put up pandals during the festivals.
The Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed all the municipal corporations in Maharashtra to file affidavits by October 9 disclosing the names of politicians who are involved in erecting pandals without permission for Ganesh Chaturthi festival beginning Thursday.
