Parth Jindal News
Delhi Capitals co-owner's plea came after the IPL on Tuesday "relocated" the May 23 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to Lucknow.
Prithvi Shaw was part of the Delhi Capitals since 2018. However, the past few seasons haven't been great for the 25-year-old, forcing the franchise to release Shaw before the mega auction.
Delhi Capitals had released their captain Rishabh Pant ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction where he was signed for a whopping Rs 27 crore from Lucknow Super Giants.
During the first day of the IPL 2025 mega auction, the franchise signed nine players with the likes of Mitchell Starc, Harry Brook, and KL Rahul. They also used the Right To Match (RTM) card to acquire Jake Fraser-McGurk at Rs 9 crore.
Jindal's criticism was targeted at Warner, who faced criticism from many cricket experts for his low strike rate.
The decision was announced by owners GMR Group and JSW Sports during an event on Tuesday.
Jindal was referring to Udanta's goal which was disallowed by the referee, who had red-flagged him for an offside.
The JSW group-owned Bengaluru FC, along with Tata Steel Limited, joined the ISL bandwagon after winning the bids for the two new teams.
Ending months of speculation, I-League champions Bengaluru FC announced on Tuesday that it has parted ways with its successful head coach Ashley Westwood "by mutual consent".
