Pathankot terrorists News
A day after a parliamentary panel claimed some "terrorists were still hiding" in villages close to the "vulnerable" Pathankot airbase, Punjab Police on Wednesday carried out a massive door-to-door search in at least 28 hamlets near here.
The report said the Pakistani nationals provided the information after the NIA uploaded the photos of four Pathankot terrorists on its website in March.
The NIA has already gone through the database of missing Indians and concluded that none of the four bodies are of Indians.
A day after the Pathankot Indian Air Force base was attacked by terrorists suspected to be members of Jaish-e-Mohammed, DIG (border) Punjab Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh on Sunday confirmed presence of two more terrorists inside the air base.
After more than 13 hours, fresh blast suspected to be that of a grenade was heard inside Pathankot air base at 9 am on Sunday.
It was the last conversation which was made on the SP's phone, which is believed to be used by the terrorists to make calls to Pakistan.
Former Indian Air Force official Ranjith KK, who was recently arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan backed ISI, will be probed over Pathankot terror attack.
