With 50 percent of its work force already based in India, French software major Capgemini Tuesday said it plans to make the country the epicentre of its execution and will focus on building capabilities around innovation, client experience and leadership.
French IT services and consulting company Capgemini said today it was buying New Jersey-based IGATE for USD 4 billion (3.7 billion euros), boosting its US-generated business to 30 per cent of its total activity.
As many as 400 French firms are already present in the country employing 2,50,000 people.
