WeWork is the latest in a string of popular companies to announce plans to incorporate cryptocurrencies in their businesses. Visa Inc said last month it would allow payment settlements using cryptocurrency while PayPal Holdings Inc launched a crypto checkout service on March 30.

MasterCard Inc said on Tuesday it had expanded its deal with payment processor PayPal Holdings Inc, which would allow customers to use PayPal`s payment services in stores.

PayPal Holdings Inc shares jumped as much as 11 percent in their highly anticipated return to the Nasdaq on Monday, valuing the company at about $52 billion.

E-commerce company eBay Inc said it was selling its enterprise business to a consortium led by private equity firm Permira for $925 million, as it streamlines its operations ahead of the separation from PayPal Holdings Inc .
