Devadiga created the record for most points scored by a raider ever in a Pro Kabaddi League match.
Rohit Kumar (12 points) and Ajay Kumar (10 points) led Bengaluru Bulls' charge as they combined to score 22 raid points. Rohit Balliyan scored 11 points but was let down by his team's defence as they scored just six tackle points. This was Dabang Delhi's 15th loss of the season as their dismal campaign continued.
Thakur also reached reached the 500 raid point milestone in the history of Pro Kabaddi League. He scored 15 raid points and delivered every time his team were looking down and out.
The trio of Deepak Dahiya, Vikas Kandola and Wazir Singh combined to score 23 raid points to lead their team to victory. Anup Kumar scored 10 points for U Mumba but Kashiling Adake had a disappointing match and that affected U Mumba's performance.
Thalaivas were looking down and out but Thakur scored seven of his eight raid points in the last five minutes to turn the match on its head.
Maninder Singh made a crucial super raid in the dying minutes of the match as Warriors held on to a narrow win. Bengal Warriors defenders Ravinder Pahal and and Mahender Singh scored five points each but were let down by raiders Rohit and Ajay Kumar.
Jang Kun Lee scored in the dying seconds to win the match for Bengal Warriors and ended with nine points. Maninder Singh also chipped in with seven points for Bengal Warriors.
Credit should be given to their defender Girish Erak who made a super tackle on Rahul Chaudhari with a minute left to make it 36-42 as it was about sealing the match from there on. Ernak also won the Moment-of-the-Match for his brilliant super tackle in the dying minutes.
Piling on the points for Pirates, Narwal became the fastest to reach 100 raid points in PKL Season 5 to give their side a ballistic start.
Yoddha are leading the Zone B standings with 25 points after 10 matches. They have won three, lost five and tied two. Titans are placed fifth in the six-team group with 17 points from as many outings. They have won two, lost seven and tied one.
Gujarat now top the table in Zone A with 41 points after 10 matches. Puneri Paltan suffered only their second defeat of the season and remain second with 21 points from six games.
Narwal tried to get back Patna into the game and scored two quick raid points in the dying minutes of the first half. Paltan led 25-13 at the end of the first half.
Narwal also became the fastest 50 points scorer in the ongoing PKL season.
The first encounter will see Bengaluru Bulls take on the Tamil Thalaivas and they will be looking to bank on yesterday's morale-boosting win against the Bengal Warriors.
For better part of the match, the Bulls dominated the proceedings but mercurial Titans skipper Chaudhari turned the table in the dying minutes with a couple of rampant raids.
Nitin (9 points) and Devadiga (5 points) did the most damage to the opposition with their successful raids helping the Uttar Pradesh outfit clinch victory by five points.
Placed in Zone A, Haryana Steelers began their journey in Pro Kabaddi Season 5 with a narrow defeat to U Mumba while Gujarat Fortunegiants emerged triumphant 26-20 against Dabang Delhi.
After defeating U Mumba in the tournament opener on Friday, Telugu fell to double defending champions and Bengaluru Bulls in their next two Zone B matches at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.

The opening match is between Rahul Chaudhari-led Telugu Titans and Sachin Tendulkar's Tamil Thalaivas and will kick-off at 8:00 pm IST.
