Amid absolute outrage over the brutal and heinous murder of a two-and-half-year-old girl in Aligarh, a post-mortem report has confirmed that the minor had been brutally assaulted before she was killed.

The incident took place in Tappal town in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh. 

Two persons have been arrested in connection with the crime and the police said they will charge the duo under the National Security Act.

The postmortem report states the minor victim's body was eaten up by insects to such an extent that bones were exposed at certain places.
